Maiken Pure white paws padded gently against the soft grass, cool on her pads. Looking up to the tall oak tree she smiled softly, it had been forever since she had come here. For she was more curious about the places around her now. She had come with her dad, they had talked about a lot here. She wondered if he would come by, hoped anyway. It was possible but he was probably busy since he was running the clan. A cool breeze passed by, pushing against her soft white fur. It was so quiet, which was normal for here, the silence welcomed her.
Glancing around she laid down slowly, enjoying the warm sun against her pelt. Taking in a deep breathe she grinned, for it was good to be back here. The only thing that would help would be her father coming along. Her death was still something that made her wonder, and she wished she was alive again, but it didn't bother her a lot. What happened was over, and there was nothing she could change about it. Her father answered a lot of questions she had, and helped her not to think about her death. Curling her tail around her side, she stretched out gazing up at the tall oak tree. [/blockquote]

the sun will turn to moon never, bet you everythin' tommorow!
tigerstar growled as he realised that it was above 45', that stupid fortune idiot said it was below that! growling to himself once again he hoped StarClan would make it rain. he was patrolling the IslandClan border with a few other cats, he led the patrol and stayed in the shade, he knew these ForestClan and IceClan warriors did wander where they shouldn't and he felt it was his duty to keep them in place. he knew all the Clans where weak at the moment with no-leader and for them all to keep this forest flurishing they all had to support each other, even if they were darkest enemys. silverheart sniffed the air and growled, instently going into a hunters crouch. tigerstar stalked on ignoring his friends crouch. silverheart hissed at him and tigerstar turned around quickly and bared his teeth at the young, over-enthusiastic warrior. like a village idiot tigerstar cursed to himself.
curse yourself, no me!
tigerstar looked at the warrior and turned back, sighing. it was annoying, the heat was making them all angry and moody. tigerstar directed his patrol to keep going, he wanted to go to the gathering area. he put silverheart in control and turned away, already bounding away he turned into the undergrowth. he knew his daughter might be around here as she hadn't been seen yet by any of the clan. slowing to a walk he stood on a highrock where he scouted the area, a sound of a monster sounded but it was too far away to come into the sacred area. jumping towards the river which stood between him and the gathering oak. leaping into the river he began paddeling, the rivers current was strong and yanked him continuiously until his head kept bobbing under and nearly drowning him. eventually getting out of the water he sighed contently, he was now refreshed and now it was below 45'. jumping again he bounded towards the tree, but a sent filled his nose, it was a vole, a big one, it looked fat and chubby, nice and juicy! it was caught in a net and it was scrabling numbly. when it saw the looming cat standing over it, it began fretting. tigerstar ended its life with a quick bit, it wasn't difficult to do it.
hello my darling!
once he ate the vole he licked his lips and began cleaning his fur, the rythmic licking sounded around, he was now more content then ever. getting up he padded to where the huge oak was, its leaves where in full leaf. he saw his daughter bathing in the sun, he began to mount his rock and meowed, his powerful voice rumbled from his stomach. he lept from the rock and licked his daughter on the ear. "please maiken, do not wander! my clan was searching for you and you were suppost to go on the evening hunt and the patrol instead of me. i thought you were going here. i want you always in camp unless i say so! am i clear? he shook his head annoyingly and sat down, he licked his paw waiting for her to reply.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]

Bounding over the soft, green grass, GhostPelt yawned massively. It was a hazy, summer day, and the hot sun wasn't hiding its glare. It shone down upon his back with an unknown harshness; GhostPelt was sweating slightly, and as he came up to the huge oak tree that was every Clan's meeting place, he stopped to take in a few deep breaths. Oh, he was so tired - and it would be very good to rest. Sighing slightly, the silvery-white tom padded slowly forwards, and down the steep embankment into the clearing. The pine needles were sharp against his pads, but he didn't seem to notice; because all of his attention was pinned on the two cats in the centre. He was very aware of who they were, aswell. Both came from Islandclan; they were father and daughter, and apparantly very close. Everyone always teased GhostPelt about his startlingly close likeness to Maiken, the pretty she-cat. In fact, now that he thought about it, the only difference between himself and Maiken was their eyes; whilst his were a ghostly white-blue, hers were lime green. 'Ah, TigerStar. Maiken.' Giving each a bow that reflected his respect for them, GhostPelt padded up closer, a gentle smile fixed upon his maw. IceClan and IslandClan hadn't had relations in a while; how long had it been now? But nevertheless, here he was. A slight grin upon his handsome muzzle, GhostPelt spoke again. ' What brings you both to the meeting tree?' His tone was polite, and respectful. The white tom cat sat down upon the soft, fresh grass, slightly wary.

Maiken Taking in a deep breathe as the sun settled perfectly on her back she grinned, this day was perfect for relaxing. The weather was warm, with the occasional cool breeze that blew past every once in a while. As the meow of her father rung in her ears suddenly she turned her head. Smiling when she saw him, she was glad he had come down. Pawing at him playfully when he licked her ear she tilted her head to the side. As he began to speak she sighed, he was always so protective over her, making sure the clan always knew where she was at all times. She could never wander without someone knowing where she was going. Rolling her eyes she pulled herself up on her feet and sighed. "Yes dad were clear. But can't I ever wander? I mean your seem so protective over me, and I don't see why. You've taught me to protect myself." she argued, looking down at the grass while she spoke.
Suddenly the sound of another cat caught her attention, smiling she recognized Ghostpelt. Smiling she stayed where she was an nodded to him. "Hello ghostpelt, and well I was just relaxing.... she told him, glancing over at her father quickly. Grinning she looked back to ghostpelt, for she did wonder why they looked so alike. The only difference they held was the color of their eyes. Tilting her head she waited for someone to speak.

nothing good to know
well, tigerstar looked at his daughter, she was preety, he must say. he and his mother were foolish, they were young, like any young cats they would just fall in love and find unexspected kin. tigerstar never knew that his female, she-cat would ever die. she lost so much blood, there were two kits, both died. all died and tigerstar had to live with it till he suffered the worst death anyone could suffer. tigerstar knew there was another one out here but he didn't know who could be his kin, no-one exactly looked like him, maiken had favoured her mothers coat and taken it while he didn't have any kin which looked like him. though he knew leading clans didn't mean that he could breed with anyone. he couldn't have all his kits running around the clan like havok. letting out a low growl as he thought about millions of kin running all over the place. tigerstar put it out of his mind and looked towards his daughter.
when your sleepy, you never make sense!
tigerstar looked at his daughter, then opened his mouth to allow him to test the air to see if anyone was around. but this place had a truce on it by starclan, no-one could attack each other as starclan would curse them even more. "Yes dad you were clear. But can't I ever wander? I mean you seem so protective over me, and I don't see why. You've taught me to protect myself." the white she-cat spoke to him. tigerstar didn't speak for a little while, letting his mind think about what he should say to her. he growled at the last bit, yes maybe, but she wasn't very good at it. what happened if she was as foolish as him. breeding and having kin, loosing them for another clan, obviously fightinng against each other as you put them in an enemy clan. before replying he took a deep breath. "you can also wander once you obey, plus you always wander without anyone. you miss dinnertime, everything. am i clear this time maiken or i will have to take drastic measures." he hissed at her, growling after some of the words. he let his ears fall a little, he was angry at those who had no respect, he prefered those who said, 'yes tigerstar...' and nothing more, that was all he bloody well needed from her. wasn't it easy?!
cut me up and call me a coward
tigerstar smelt something and lets his claws come out. though the truce was here he could still defend his daughter and himself. pinning his auds and baring his teeth he waited for the stranger, he saw him, he was nearly identical to malikan but with blue eyes. tigerstar listened to his daughter, "Hello ghostpelt, and well I was just relaxing...." she spoke like he was a friend and tigerstar allowed himself to calm down, he saw his daughter glance at him and tigerstar stared at her, the fowl stench of IceClan filled his nose and he snorted impatiently. yes they looked alike, but who cared? tigerstar said nothing, it was best to...

Slighly confuzed, GhostPelt hid his frown, and smiled hesitantly at the Islandclan leader and his daughter. The evening had truly come now, and the sky had bled into a red-orange wash; hazy light around the flies made them seem glowing gold, and the large tom momentarily was distracted, his soft blue eyes following them as if they were Pied Pipers, and he was a young twoleg child. Sighing softly, he murmured something about the weather, but he didn't hear it himself. Evenings like this were beautiful; and made him feel free, but also, slightly nostalgic. If only he were alive, he could enjoy this eve so much more. But, he was dead. And that was that. GhostPelt was not one for gripping tight on the past. The handsome tom looked oncemore upon Maiken, and a frown flickered across his face. There was a flash of a memory; and in his mind, for just a moment, he could smell milk, feel the soft fur of a much larger cat, and could feel the bright smouldering burn of green eyes. Coming back to reality, Ghost stumbled slightly, only to look up into Maiken's face again; this had happened once before, but this was the first time her and him and met face to face. Confusion, and a trace of hurt; these two emotions could be found racing through blue eyes. 'Maiken...do I...know you? I feel like you come from my past.'

Maiken Listening to her father go on, she decided it would be easier to just let him win. What were drastic measures supposed to be anyway? Perhaps she should ask him, tilting her head she watch him curiously, he did seem to be getting angry but all well. She was his daughter, it was her job to get on his nerves. She had done it before she died and she still did it now. Smirking she laughed to herself a bit before looking up to her father. "Yes, your clear. " she told him, deciding to give in now.
Looking over to Ghost pelt as he spoke she did always have that feeling that she knew him. "I...get the same feeling Ghostpelt..." she told him with a slight tilt of her head. Looking to her father with a sharp turn of her head she paused before speaking. "Dad?" she questioned, hoping he would say something. Her green eyes watched him closely for any sign that he was about to speak. Her gaze went back to Ghostpelt as she curiously remembered how his blue eyes looked so familiar. Sighing she waited for someone to speak.
